about

"The Nerd Table and 61 Triplets cd 'XMAS EVE' can be divided into three sections: Part A, Part B, and Part X.
A) Tracks 1 through 3 are a recording experiment by 61 Triplets which somewhere along the way evolves into a Nerd Table performance. They were recorded 12/24/2002.
Track 1 (approx. 15 mins.,) is an impromptu 61 Triplets jam/practice (with Jeremy Seely on drums). It is the first level.
Track 2 (approx. 15 mins.,) consists of track 1 overdubbed with improv singing, rawking, etc., by Pat A. Nonymous, 61 Triplets, Mr. E, Danny Glover, Li'l Voltaire, Mr. Seely, Lockemup, and the rest of the Here Comes Everybody crew. It is the second level.
Track 3 (approx. 14&3/4 mins.,) consists of tracks 1 and 2, overdubbed with more craziness. After Pat took it out of the dryer we realized that this was a Nerd Table thing. This final level prepared us for the following completed song.
B) Track 4: 'If You Wanna Be Chinese All You Have To Do Is Pull The Flesh On The Side Of Your Face,' hearkens back to elementary school, before we knew what the words 'stereotype' and 'bigot' meant.
This is a Nerd Table song. We didn't realize it at the time, but there is also a punk band called Nerd Table. I am sure they wouldn't want to be associated with this potentially offensive song, or this Nerd Table, so please don't confuse it as being their work.
The end of the song was taken from a funny answering machine message where Lockemup and 61 Triplets are arguing about whose girlfriend is better.
X) Consists of tracks 5 through 20, where 61 Triplets attepts to rectify and clarify the situation by singing a summary of his experiences at the Nerd Table meeting on the car ride home. It was recorded 12/24/2002. The 'One-Man Jam' machine accompanies on several tracks. Pat A. Nonymous's influence can be heard throughout this section."
